Philip C. Spinosa Jr.
Councilman Philip C. Spinosa Jr. was elected to the City Council in October 2015. He is a 1996 graduate of Christian Brothers High School and earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Insurance in 2001 from the University of Mississippi. Councilman Spinosa is a Sales Management Executive for FedEx Services.
Councilman Spinosa is a lifelong Memphian and a believer of hard work and positivity. Serving as an exemplary example to the rest of the city, he is active in the community by volunteering his time with the Boys and Girls Club, New Memphis Institute Fellows Program and the Childrens’s Museum of Memphis.
Councilman Spinosa and his wife Sarah Moon have two sons, Graham and Bradford. The family attends St. Louis Catholic Church.
In his free time, Councilman Spinosa enjoys playing golf, baseball, basketball or any other sport his son Graham enjoys for the day. As a Memphis Tigers Football season ticket holder, Councilman Spinosa rarely misses a game and he is an ardent supporter of the Memphis Grizzlies.
