Reid Hedgepeth
Councilman Reid Hedgepeth was elected to the City Council in November, 2007. Mr. Hedgepeth graduated from Christian Brothers High School and attended the University of Memphis on a football scholarship. Councilman Hedgepeth is the owner of Hedgepeth Construction LLC. He previously owned and operated a landscaping company.
Councilman Hedgepeth is involved in a variety of community and service organizations including: the Land Use Control Board, the Memphis Regional Chamber, the Highland Hundred, the Firecracker 5k for St. Jude Children's Hospital, and Blue Streak Scholarship Fund. Mr. Hedgepeth was named a "Top 40 under 40" by the Memphis Business Journal magazine.
Councilman Hedgepeth and his wife Riley have two children, Dayton and Hunt. The family attends Christ United Methodist Church.
