MECCA (Memphis Educational Computer Connectivity Alliance) is a consortium of academic institutions within the Memphis, Tennessee area. Its organizing membership is composed of many colleges and universities.

University of Memphis
The University of Memphis is a comprehensive urban university committed to the scholarly accomplishments of our students and faculty and to the enhancement of our community. The University of Memphis offers 15 bachelor's degrees in more than 50 majors and 70 concentrations. It also offers master's degrees in 46 subjects and doctoral degrees in 21 disciplines, in addition to the Juris Doctor (law) and a specialist degree in education.

University TN-Memphis
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the city's only downtown university, is located at the very heart of the Memphis medical center. These are exciting times on the campus of the Health Science Center, perhaps the most exciting since our establishment in Memphis in 1911. Formed by the consolidation of five medical schools and schools of dentistry and pharmacy, our current enrollment is approximately 2,000 students, who study in various disciplines and sub-disciplines of allied health sciences, biomedical engineering, dentistry, graduate health sciences, medicine, nursing and pharmacy.
